From Prostitutes to Prayer Warriors – Using Your Past for His Glory – study written by Cyndy Gusler
Tuesdays, 6:00 – 8:00 pm

From prostitutes to prayer warriors, from housewives to regal queens, this 12 week study will investigate the stormy marriages, passionate desires for children, and tender friendships of 10-15 ladies of the Bible. We will discover how powerful their lives call out to us today, noting how a single decision in your life can change the next generation of the world.

*EXPERIENCE the heartaches of Tamar and Rebekah, the faithfulness of Mary and Anna, the “colorful” lifestyle of Rahab, and the simple prayerful heart of Hannah.

*EXPLORE the role of women in family, society and church, as well as their cultural laws and customs, and how man and God viewed them necessary.

*LISTEN to the personal testimonies of ladies who walked with God and now offer wisdom and Biblical truths to enable us to be the women God has intended.

Goals of This Class:

*Discover how everyday women make everyday choices that change the world

*Learn from their choices and mistakes as they are our role models

*Understand God’s character and promises

*Realize they’re mothers and wives like us, not dead Bible stories

*Find out who were the forerunners (politics, landowners, ministers, teachers, encountering God)

Tuesdays, 9:30 am – 11:30 am

Do you feel that the ability to hear God’s voice is for other people and not for you? Is it only for people who lived in Biblical times?

Not at all! The God who loved you enough to die for you loves you enough to talk to you. And wherever you are in your spiritual walk, God will find a way to speak to you in a way you will understand.

Become acquainted with the Voice that has spoken from a fire and a cloud, with visible signs and an invisible Spirit, through a burning bush and burning hearts. Hear from some of the most well known Christians in history about how God speaks to them, and discover for yourself how you can discern the voice of God.

Senior to Senior at The Vineyard!
Mar 7 @ 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm

Our First Ever, Senior to Senior Luncheon at THE VINEYARD!

Our Senior to Senior luncheons at Park Creek Adult Living Center have been a huge success! Now, for the first time, we are hosting a Senior to Senior luncheon at The Vineyard. We are looking for boys and girls, ages 17-22 – as well as senior citizens – who want to better understand other generations. The luncheon will have guided discussion with questions like:

  • What was the best advice your mother ever gave you?
  • What has been the hardest thing you’ve had to go through this year?
  • What is something great about technology? What is NOT great about technology?
  • If you could change one thing in the world right now, what would it be?
  • What was one of your favorite memories from childhood?
  • Describe your best friend and tell why they are your best friend.

Too often, there is a disconnect between young and senior adults, as both struggle to understand and relate to the other. Conversations, if they happen at all, can be awkward and superficial. These luncheons are a way to bridge that gap in some small way.

We are looking for 20 “senior” young adults who would like to extend and receive deeper understanding with the older generations, and senior citizens, male and female. Please encourage any young adults or seniors you know to consider being a part of this outreach!

A donation of $15 or more is requested, which will go toward From The Vine Ministries’ capital campaign to purchase new property that will allow us to host events like this in the future. Please Register so we know you are coming!

We are also looking for sponsors for young adults who cannot donate. Please call Cyndy at 281-413-3256 or Email if you would like to sponsor.
